What does it take to bring together diverse groups to facilitate community 
change?  Meet with others on Kauai facilitating large-scale problem solving
to share and learn from each other.

To start the conversation, Kem Lowry, a former urban planning professor and 
member of the Collaborative Leaders Network, will reflect on the promise and 
pitfalls of his recent work with community groups developing a plan for 
Kakaako Makai (Honolulu).  Following his presentation, participants will have 
an opportunity to compare their approaches to collaborative community work.
