Kauai police searching for suspect in multiple criminal cases | Crime

Kauai police are looking for a Hanamaulu man who allegedly ran away after an attempted stop.

According to officials, David Borges, 29, is a suspect in multiple criminal investigations and is considered armed and dangerous.

Officials say Borges lead police on a pursuit just before 4 p.m. Wednesday. He then lost control of the truck as he tried to turn down Kauai Beach Drive, got out of the vehicle and ran into a nearby field.

Borges is described as 5'7" and about 228 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair. He also has numerous tattoos.
