The 2nd Annual “Walk A Mile in Her Shoes” sponsored by Kaua’i Community College and the YWCA of Kaua'i is scheduled for Friday April 20th from 11:00AM-2:00PM with a march through campus, speakers, music, and raffle followed by lunch. There will be information booths, t-shirts, and prizes. This event is free and open to the public!

Kaua’i Community College is proud to host “Walk a Mile in Her Shoes” (WAM), the International Men's March to Stop Rape, Sexual Assault & Gender Violence.

Because sexualized violence affects women, and the men who care about women, their families, their friends, their coworkers, and their communities, our mission is to create a unique and powerful public experience that educates members of our community about the causes of sexualized violence, provides them with prevention and solution strategies, and empowers them to use them.
