Interim Lihue Library will Close May 16-17 for Scheduled Electrical Outage
The Interim Lihue Public Library, operating out of the Library’s Conference Room, will be closed from Thursday through Friday, May 16 – 17 due to a scheduled power outage. The book drop will remain open.
Upgrades to the building’s electrical system will be conducted as part of the Lihue Public Library Renovation Project which began last month. The Interim Library, which offers limited library services, will reopen on Monday, May 20 at 11 a.m.
“Patrons may visit our interim Library during the normal hours of Mondays and Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.,” said Library branch manager Carolyn Larson. “We appreciate the public's patience and support as we work to improve the Lihue Public Library.”
