Kauai: Firefighters respond to pumping station blaze
HANAPEPE, Kauai (HawaiiNewsNow) - Kauai firefighters remain at the scene of a structure fire in Hanapepe.
According to officials, the fire broke at a pumping station owned by McBryde Resources at about 1:30 a.m. Friday.
Firefighters say the blaze was about 90 percent contained at 4:45 a.m.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
The damage estimate is unknown at this time.
